Donald Trump’s long-time fixer Michael Cohen testifies on Wednesday to the House Oversight Committee about the business and political activities of his former boss.

The hearing comes between Cohen’s closed-door appearance on Tuesday to the Senate Intelligence Committee and on Thursday to the House Intelligence Committee.

So how explosive will Cohen’s testimony be? Here are some pointers in an interview this morning with CNN International’s Rosemary Church.

*Trump ordered Cohen to pay off Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 election over her sexual encounter with Trump — if confirmed, that is a violation of federal election law

*Trump indirectly and Trump’s attorneys directly instructed Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations for a Trump Tower Moscow in 2015-2016

*Trump conferred with advisor Roger Stone about WikiLeaks’ release of e-mails, obtained by a Russian military intelligence operation, concerning Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton

*Trump knew of the meeting in June 2016 between his top advisors — Donald Trump Jr.; son-in-law Jared Kushner; and campaign manager Paul Manafort — with three Kremlin-linked envoys

And this, as I explain, is just the “tip of the iceberg”.
