In our Week in Review, I spoke with Paul Ross of talkRADIO on Wednesday about two conflicts that are unlikely to be resolved soon: 1) the immediate breakdown in talks between the UK and the European Union, spurred by the Irish border issue; and 2) the probable murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, with Donald Trump trying to shield Riyadh from punishment.

He is a specialist in US and British foreign policy and international relations, especially the Middle East and Iran. Formerly he worked as a journalist in the US, writing for newspapers including the Guardian and The Independent and was an essayist for The New Statesman before he founded EA WorldView in November 2008.
