In our Week in Review, I spoke with Paul Ross of talkRADIO on Wednesday about two conflicts that are unlikely to be resolved soon: 1) the immediate breakdown in talks between the UK and the European Union, spurred by the Irish border issue; and 2) the probable murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, with Donald Trump trying to shield Riyadh from punishment.
Scott Lucas is Professor of International Politics at the University of Birmingham and editor-in-chief of EA WorldView. He is a specialist in US and British foreign policy and international relations, especially the Middle East and Iran.
