Ahead of Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, I joined Rosemary Church of CNN International for a review of Trump’s attitude and a series of important issues.
First, it’s a look at the address in the context of another possible Government shutdown on February 8 and the White House’s hardline, take-it-or-leave-it position on immigration.
Then there’s a glance at the real headline in Trump’s chat with his British friend Piers Morgan — Trump’s defense of retweeting distorted and false Islamophobic videos, with no knowledge of the UK far-right group that circulated them.
Finally there’s consideration of employment and other issues for African Americans, amid a weekend spat between Jay-Z and Trump.
I talk w/ @ScottLucas_EA about President #Trump's first #StateOfTheUnion address & #immigration, we also discuss #JayZ & #BlackUnemployment & the #Trump interview with #PiersMorgan https://t.co/sG4MSS7226
