After the Bastille Day parade on Friday, the French Army’s marching band plays a medley from the French artists Daft Punk, including “Get Lucky”, “Digital Love”, and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.
Were the band trolling their American guest as a daft punk? He doesn’t seem to know as he and his twitching hair look on bemused. But French President Emmanuel Macron is enjoying himself, with a wry smile, while the French military commanders clap enthusiastically with the music.
