Following the rejection of his “Muslim Ban” by a federal appeals court, Donald Trump has said that his administration will soon issue a new executive order. But what could that entail?
I spoke with BBC World Service on Saturday to consider the legal and political possibilities, explaining that the outcome may depend on which faction prevails within the White House: the “fire-breathers”, including chief strategist Steve Bannon, or the “pragmatists”, including Chief of Staff Reince Preibus and supported by agencies.
