I spoke with BBC Radio Wales about the foreign policy of a Donald Trump Presidency, both in his approach to other countries such as Russia and in the likely battles within his Administration for influence.
Stability is always good in international relations, including between the US and Russia. But let’s be very clear: Russian foreign policy at the moment under President Putin is a very aggressive, even expansionist policy.
You have to be realistic. President Putin is not there to give Trump a hug. He’s there to defend Russian interests.
