Iran’s strident rhetoric on the Gaza War continued on Sunday, with the Supreme Leader’s top military aide declaring that Zionists have “inherited barbarism and brutality” from Germany’s National Socialists.
General Yahya Rahim Safavi told journalists, “The catastrophe in Palestine and Gaza is worse than the Nazis’ crimes and if the European countries remember the Nazis’ killings, they know that today the Zionists are the heirs of the Nazis.
Rahim Safavi repeated the Supreme Leader’s call for Muslim unity to counter Israel and free Palestine from Israeli occupation.
“If every Muslim donates only one dollar to Gaza or says even one word in the websites or media in support of the oppressed Palestinians, it would result in the biggest action against the Zionists’ news censorship in the western media,” Safavi said.
The Lieutenant Commander of Iran’s Army, General Abdolrahim Moussavi has taken another lesson from Gaza:
These events and similar incidents happening in the contemporary world prove to us more than ever that power and might are the basic instruments of life today. Power is comprised of numerous components, but the military component always plays the main role.
Moussavi said if other elements of power cannot help one to impose his or her will on others, then the “military element will have a decisive role”.
