EA-Trump Report VideoCast: The Week in TrumpLand — Canada Stands Up to An “Economic Moron”; Trump Military’s Problems and Purges Amid Iran War; The Horror of Kid Rock

In our latest hour-long That Was The Week That Was (in TrumpLand), The Trump Report’s Maddie Hale and I take apart the Trump camp’s damage and nonsense from Ukraine to the War on Iran to the War on Canada.

However, we don’t begin with Donald Trump. Instead, we look at the attempt by US agencies to maintain some support for Ukrainian and European security. I analyze the mission of CIA Director John Ratcliffe to Moscow, sending a message to Vladimir Putin: don’t expand hybrid warfare across Europe and get out of your stalled invasion of Ukraine.

But Trump is at the center of my latest dissection of the failed War on Iran. I explain why the Trump camp has boxed itself in, pulling away from talks but pursuing an ill-conceived economic warfare against Tehran. Meanwhile, Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have been willing to sacrifice US troops for the sake of their egos.

I detail the latest damage from the purge of the military, as Army Secretary Dan Driscoll departs. His mental capacity diminishing, Trump has “checked out of the building”, obsessed with other matters such as his White House Ballroom.

Then it’s back to Elbows Up and Canada. I open up a can of whoop ass on Hegseth’s social media misogyny and body-shaming, trying to humiliate two Canadian teenagers, and the sneers of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
