EA on International Media: US-Israel War on Iran — Trump and Co. Ramble On with No Plan B
I joined the Irish Examiner’s Mick Clifford Podcast on Thursday for a 41-minute analysis of how the Trump Administration, alongside Israel, has trapped itself in an “uncontained war” with Iran.
I explain why the Trump camp launched the war seeking “regime surrender” over nuclear and ballistic missile programs, but failed to plan beyond the killing of the Supreme Leader and his commanders and officials in initial strikes on February 28.
As a result, the Administration did not plan for Iranian retaliation, including on Gulf States, and the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
So with no “Plan B”, the Trumpists just keep firing more missiles, including on Iranian civilians, until domestic pressure can curb them.
