EA on International Outlets: Trump’s Racist “Strategy” Abandons America’s Allies

I joined Nigeria’s Info FM on Thursday to discuss the motives behind the Trump Administration’s National Security Strategy, including political ambitions and ego, the quest for personal profits, and racism.

Host Maryann Okon and I begin by considering the Administration’s quest to break up the European Union and ally with far-right movements across the continent. I explain how this is driven by the Great Replacement conspiracy theory, with Trump’s officials proclaiming that white citizens of European countries will be overrun by immigrants.

This is 21st-century neo-colonialism — men at the head of the US Government who see Africa as a place where they make money with different-colored people.

We briefly look at US domestic affairs, with Trump gloating over the murders of husband-and-wife filmmakers Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.
