Donald Trump with young women, in a photo released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein to the House Oversight Committee
EA on DW News: Epstein Photos Keep Pressure on Trump
EA-CEO Retort VideoCast: Social Media, Disinformation, and Trump-Epstein
I joined Times Radio’s Maddie Hale on Saturday morning for a 20-minute analysis of the latest developments around Donald Trump and the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
We consider the release of the latest set of Epstein photographs. The significance is not in the context — they do not add any evidence of criminal activity while showing powerful men, including Trump, with Epstein and young women — but in the timing: the release keeps the story at the top of the news cycle as the December 19 deadline approaches for Trump’s Justice Department to release Epstein’s criminal case files.
I examine the increase in pressure on Trump, especially if he balks at the release. And I emphasize the priority:
We can’t get away from the politics. But from the very start of this, the focus of this should have been to get accountability, transparency, and closure for the victims.
