Donald Trump greets his hard-right ally, UK politician Nigel Farage, during the US Presidential campaign, August 2016

EA on International Outlets: What’s Next After End of US Government Shutdown

Appearing on the propaganda outlet of the hard-right UK Reform Party, GB “News”, David Dunn calls out the assault by Donald Trump and Reform — led by his former employee, Nigel Farage — on the British Broadcasting Corporation.

David takes apart Trump’s threats of a $5 billion lawsuit to intimidate the BBC, on the pretext of a single, clumsy edit in a documentary aired a year ago.

He also highlights Trump’s lies over issues such as crime and his deployment of the military in US cities.

Donald Trump, who is outraged at the BBC, is famous for misquoting and misrepresenting people all the time.

The Washington Post in his first term counted 30,000 lies that they fact-checked.

Trump is interested in the politics, rather than the truth.

David adds, “The BBC is the most trusted broadcaster in the US after the Weather Channel. This is an attempt by Trump to intimidate it and damage that reputation.”
