I joined Times Radio’s Maddie Hale on Wednesday for a 23-minute special about the naming of Donald Trump in released e-mails of the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
I analyze the content of the three e-mails, among the 23,000 released by the Epstein estate to the House Oversight Committee, and why they are “damning” for Trump.
I consider the intersection between the release and House Speaker Mike Johnson, who has been protecting Trump, being forced to administer the oath of office to Rep. Adelita Grijalva of Arizona.
Johnson had used the Government shutdown as the pretext to block Grijalva, elected in a special election in September, from taking her seat. Now that he cannot use that excuse, she will be the 218th and decisive name on a discharge motion mandating the House to vote of the release of Epstein’s case files.
We also discuss why conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has fallen out with Trump. Could it cause further problems for the Administration in the House?
