EA on TVP World: China’s Maneuvers Over Russia
I joined Ukraine’s War and Politics 24 on Thursday for a 39-minute analysis of the current status of Russia’s invasion — and what could happen to Vladimir Putin if it fails to make any more progress.
I emphasize that this is “a marathon, not a sprint” and that Russia is continuing its attempt to seize more Ukrainian territory, as well as pursuing its daily missile and drone attacks on energy facilities and civilian sites.
However, I note Moscow’s slow advance in eastern Ukraine, Ukranian counter-attacks inside Russia, and the gathering economic clouds for the Kremlin amid tightening international sanctions.
If there was a point where Russia could not claim “victory”, would there be a challenge against Putin? Where would it come from?
