Ukraine Presidential Chief of Staff Andrii Yermak has called out Russian tactics to delay discussions to end Moscow’s invasion.

Ukraine's State security service SBU says it struck five fighter jets, with one warplane “completely destroyed", at the Saky airfield in Russian-occupied Crimea.

One Su-30SM aircraft was destroyed and one damaged. Three Su-24s were struck.

An aviation depot was hit, with estimated losses of tens of millions of dollars of weapons.

“The successful special operation of the SBU in Saky is another step towards weakening the enemy’s ability to wage a war of aggression against Ukraine. The occupiers must remember that they will never feel safe on our land!” said the service.

The Su-30MS is a twin-engine, two-seat multi-role fighter aircraft in the early 2010s. Each costs between $35 million and $50 million.

Russia is hunting civilians all along the entire front line. The killing of people. The killing of children. Deliberate FPV drone strikes on first responders and medics arriving to help after attacks – all of this is typical for every city or community within reach of Russian drones. The Russian army simply kills everything that is alive.

The world has enough power to stop this and protect people. We count on strong decisions from the United States, Europe, and the world regarding secondary sanctions on Russian energy trade and Moscow’s banking sector.

At least seven civilians have been killed and at least 13 injured, including a 4-month-old girl, by Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past day.

The strike early Monday near the Archeda station set afire a "technical building", said Volgograd Governor Andrey Bocharov. Trains were delayed up to 90 minutes. A Ukrainian channel claimed the railway's control room was hit.
