Listen to Discussion from 24:11

This was a very different Trump — thoughtful, reflective, taking time to answer the questions.

We heard here a much more intimate, thoughtful version of Trump, a much more candid view than we usually see.

Dunn also comments on Trump’s latest position on Ukraine and Russia’s invasion.

Trump allowing US arms to go forward, even if the Europeans are paying for it, is an important change in policy that Russia will now have to reflect on.

ORIGINAL ENTRY: In a 30-minute VideoCast, I joined Times Radio’s Trump Report to analyze issues abroad and at home.

I begin with Trump’s shift over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. While noting the change in his rhetoric, I summarize the confusion over his statements on military aid and the ongoing danger of his chaotic and unpredictable approach.

I explain how Trump refused to sign the deal between his negotiators and the European Union for a 10% tariff on EU goods — and analyze why the reality TV star suddenly announced a 30% duty, effective August 1.

I look at the split among Trumpists over the Administration’s refusal to release the files of the late Jeffrey Epstein.

And I evaluate the damage of the Supreme Court’s decision allowing the Adminstration to gut the Department of Education, firing 1,400 staff.
