We begin with the revelation that Russia intelligence services recruited an Irish MP in an operation to sow discord — amid the debacle of Brexit — in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.
This rings more than true and there will be more to come.
Since 2014, when the Russians got the jitters over Ukraine, because of the People’s Revolution there, their counter-attack has been to unsettle European Governments and the US.
They look for politicians and leading figures to disrupt societies, to raise divisive issues.
