I joined DW News on Monday to analyze the latest developments over the files of the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, from the Trump camp’s stonewalling to an allegation that Donald Trump was involved in the sexual abuse of a teenager in the mid-1980s.

I take apart the latest Justice Department falsehood — repeated by some media outlets — that all files have been released, only a few days after Attorney General Pam Bondi insulted legislators and refused to acknowledge Epstein’s survivors rather than answer questions.

I consider which files have been withheld. And I detail a specific case, put together from fragments of redacted documents: a day before Epstein’s death, the FBI spoke with a survivor in connection with a claim that Epstein and Trump raped her when she was between 13 and 15 years old at some point between 1983 and 1985.
