In a 45-minute VideoCast, I joined Times Radio’s Trump Report on Monday to evaluate the latest threats of Donald Trump and his inner circle against Greenland, Denmark, and Europe.
While noting the escalation in his bluster, including his declaration of imminent tariffs against eight European countries, I explain how Trump and Co. have no good options in their quest to seize Greenland.
I consider whether they would dare launch a military invasion. I look at their economic warfare. And I outline the barriers in Europe and at home to their quest.
Host Maddie Hale and I also look at the latest in Trump’s farcical narcissism. I explain his tantrum proclaiming that, because he did not get the Nobel Peace Prize, he is no longer “obligated” to pursue peace. I dissect his “Board of Peace” for Gaza, and why it is likely a non-starter.
And I highlight his Orwellian invitation to Vladimir Putin — invader of Ukraine, wanted by the International Criminal Court over Russia’s abduction of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children — to join that “Board of Peace”.
