EA-Times Radio VideoCast: Ukraine and Europe Push Back Putin’s “Nazi Piglets” Invasion

I joined Katie Hannon on RTE Radio 1’s DriveTime on Monday to analyze latest developments in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

I begin with Kyiv’s assassination of Maj. Gen. Fanil Sarvarov in the heart of Moscow earlier in the day. The head of the Russian military’s combat training and readiness, Sarvarov is the third general killed inside the country within a year.

If Vladimir Putin is going to maintain his invasion with aerial and ground attacks, then Ukraine is going to hit back at the people behind that invasion.

Then I assess the state of the talks among Ukraine-Europe, Russia, and the US, emphasizing that Vladimir Putin will not accept a ceasefire unless Kyiv surrenders territory and accepts permanent political and military weakness.

But how long can Putin continue the assault amid pressure on Russia’s economy? I note that we do not have an answer, while hailing Ukrainian resistance with the support of the international community, especially the European Union.

I also consider the latest situation with the Trump Administration’s attempt to overthrew the Maduro Government in Venezuela, stepping up pressure with the seizure of oil tankers.
