I recap how the Senate advanced a plan to end the closure, with eight Democrats joining all but one of the 53 Republicans. The Government will be funded through next January. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has said there will be a vote on renewing tax credits for the Affordable Care Act by mid-December — and the Trump Administration will not fire any of the 700,000 Federal workers furloughed without pay for 41 days.
