UPDATE, OCT 16:
I joined Pakistan TV’s Sana Maqbool on Wednesday night to update the status of the Gaza ceasefire and the vague path forward for stability in both Palestine and Israel.
I note how the immediate issues of aid, Israeli withdrawal, and the return of the bodies of Israeli hostages could become pretexts for further deprivation and the resumption of Israel’s military operations.

UPDATE, OCT 14:
I joined Talk TV’s Petrie Hosken late Monday for a 21-minute deep dive.
I separate the photo opportunities from the reality of the Gaza ceasefire, the hostage-for-detainees exchange, and the issues that are far from resolved over Israel’s mass killing and a future State of Palestine.

ORIGINAL ENTRY, OCT 13: I joined Turkey’s ANews on Monday for a 20-minute analysis of the ceasefire in Gaza, the exchange of 20 surviving Israeli hostages and the bodies of 28 others for almost 2,000 Palestinian detainees, and the even greater challenges that lie ahead.
Cutting through Donald Trump’s ego trip, I outline how the ceasefire came about, spurred by Israel’s airstrike on Qatar trying to kill Hamas negotiators on September 9.
I set out the issues that remain to be resolved, asking if the Trump Administration will remain engaged, if Gulf States can continue to press it to press Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and if the resistance of Netanyahu and Trump to a two-state resolution can be overcome.
