I joined Dublin NewsTalk’s Pat Kenny Show on Wednesday to analyze Israel’s attempted assassination of Hamas negotiators in Qatar, and to explain why the Trump Administration will accept it.

I set out why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had to bury Hamas’s acceptance of a ceasefire proposal, which had been circulated by Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff, to pursue his “absolute destruction” of Hamas and a long-term Israeli occupation of Gaza.
And while Qatar is an important ally of the US, with oil and the largest American military base in the Middle East, Donald Trump will continue to support Bibi’s ambitions.
Along the way, I take apart the shameful propaganda of Israeli activist Asher Freedman, justifying not only the attempted assassinations in Qatar but also the mass killing and starvation of Gazans.
