Israel Isolated as Momentum Grows for State of Palestine
UPDATE, 1720 GMT:
I joined India’s WION on Tuesday morning to evaluate the open letter by almost 600 former Israeli security officials — including Prime Minister Ehud Barak, heads of the military, at least 10 heads of the internal and external intelligence services Shin Bet and Mossad, and police commanders — calling for an end to the attacks and aid blockade of Gaza.
These former officials are saying Israel is not going to “destroy” Hamas. They are not going to get the hostages back just by doing more of the same. All they are going to do is isolate Israel in the eyes of the international community.
I analyze the Israeli-made humanitarian crisis and the Netanyahu Government’s consideration of a long-term occupation of Gaza.

UPDATE, AUG 5:
I joined a panel on Times of India, in a recording on Friday, evaluating the state of Israel’s mass killing in Gaza and the growing international momentum for recognition of the State of Palestine.
The other panellists are Dr. Waiel Awwad and pro-Israel commentator John Rossomando. The host is Neha Khanna.
ORIGINAL ENTRY, AUG 3:
I joined France 24 English on Saturday to analyze the Trump Administration’s public relations visit to support Israel’s mass killing and starvation of Gaza’s civilians.
I detail the photo opportunity of Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, at Israeli-run aid points in occupied areas — the same aid points where almost 1,000 Gazans have been killed while trying to get a scrap of assistance.
I explain how Israel has blockaded actual aid operations by the UN and humanitarian NGOs, and highlight the Netanyahu Government’s goal: a long-term occupation of Gaza with civilians wedged between military zones and relocated in “humanitarian cities”.
