EA on BBC: What Should UK Do About Israel’s Mass Killing and Starvation of Gazans?

I joined Turkey’s ANews on Thursday morning to discuss the global momentum for recognition of the State of Palestine, connected with the isolation of Israel over its mass killing and campaign of starvation in Gaza.

I analyze the latest announcements from France, the UK, and Canada, and explain the symbolic importance of the recognition.

This changes the narrative that countries could not recognize Palestine because it might bias the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.

Now they are saying, “We cannot wait any longer.”

But I caution that Israel’s killing and attempt at long-term occupation of Gaza, as well as violence in the occupied West Bank, will not cease until the Trump Administration withdraws support.
