Podcast: Week in Trump-Land — Trump Hates EU, Trump Loves Vlad, and Protesting Donald in the UK

Leaders of the G7 countries, including Germany's Angela Merkel, face Donald Trump at their summit, Charlevoix, Canada, June 9, 2018

In our 20-minute weekly journey across TrumpLand, I join Alexis Conran and former MP Nick de Bois on talkRADIO to discuss Donald Trump’s desire to break up the European Union and why we should all protest when Trump is in the UK on July 13.

The discussion considers why leaders like France’s Emmanuel Macron have given up on the tactic of flattering Trump and whether Trump can be contained when, after visiting a NATO that he thinks is obsolete, he sees Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

You’ve got to count on the American system to prevail.

I will be in protests on this basis: I’m not protesting the US President coming to the UK, but I think we have the opportunity, when that President comes over, to make our views respectfully known.
