Iran Daily: Revolutionary Guards — Israel’s “Eradication” Sped Up by Attacks on Palestinians

Israeli forces face Palestinian demonstrators on the Gaza border, March 31, 2018

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have used firing by Israeli forces on Palestinians, killing at least 16 and wounding more than 1,400, to declare that Israel’s “eradication” has been accelerated.

The Guards quickly seized an opportunity after the Palestinians were slain amid mass demonstrations in Gaza on the Israeli border. Videos showed the shooting of unarmed men and women.

“The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, as the Iranian nation’s powerful arm, will spare no effort to help the Muslim people of Palestine and will further activate its available capacities to restore Palestinians’ rights,” a statement declared.

The IRGC said stabiity and security for the “Israeli regime” is a fantasy which is “invalid and impossible”.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s comment:

The “Great March of Return” demonstrations were held on the 42nd anniversary of Land Day, marking the killing of six Palestinians by Israeli forces. The rallies are scheduled to culminate on May 15, known as Nakba Day to mark the displacement of Palestinians in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

The Israel Defense Forces had declared the border area a “closed military zone”. They said in a statement:

17,000 Palestinians are rioting in 5 locations along the Gaza Strip security fence. The rioters are rolling burning tires and hurling firebombs and rocks at the security fence and IDF troops, who are responding with riot dispersal means and firing towards main instigators.

Late in the day, Israel’s military targeted three Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip with tank fire and an airstrike, claiming that soldiers on the border were fired upon.

  1. Iran Commemorates Islamic Republic Day: http://en.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13970112000269

“In a landmark two-day referendum held on March 30-31, 1979, less than two months after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, over 98.2 percent of eligible Iranians voted for the establishment of an Islamic Republic in the country. As a result, on April 1, 1979, Iran was declared an Islamic Republic, and was given a new official name – the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The Islamic Republic was created through a popular revolution and confirmed through a popular referendum. Iranians later in 1979 approved the new constitution that established the principle of velayat-e-faqih (guardianship/leadership of the jurist).

    • Iran lost all credibility and any moral authority they thought they had when they started wading knee deep in the blood of Syrians. Them talking about dead Palestinians is laughable.

      • LOL. The US lost all credibility and any moral authority they thought they had when they launched a war on Iraq based on lies. Them talking about human rights and democracy is laughable.

        • What the fuck does that have to do with anything I said? I just love this brainless whataboutism taught by Putin to his little servants.

In case you were wondering, if you are going to get on your soap box about credibility and moral authority, it’s a good idea to check the state of your own “credibility and moral authority”.

            • Whenever you use your inevitable and tiresome whataboutism(which is apparently the only thing you can do) I’m just going to assume my point is valid and that you have absolutely nothing to rebut anything I said because you never do aside from your constant disinformation, lies, and whataboutism.

            • Oh and BTW I am not the US government nor do I speak for them so maybe you should get your shit straight. You’re about the least qualified individual to EVER talk about morality after spending years defending and supporting chemical weapons attacks, airliners being shot down, and illegal invasions/annexations with your lies and propaganda. Don’t know who the hell you think you are. It’s really mind boggling. I mean how many do you need to be humiliated before you get lost?

When did I ever defend the use of chemical weapons or the shooting down of airliners?
