Podcast: Debating Trump’s Davos Interview — From Islamophobia to a Threatened Trade War to Ignorance

Following the broadcast of Donald Trump’s interview with UK chat show host Piers Morgan, I joined BBC Radio Scotland on Monday to cut through the chit-chat between the two friends to get some substance from the exchange.

In a debate with Trump supporter Drew Liquerman, the discussion highlights three points: 1) Trump’s defense of retweeting fake and distorted Islamophobic videos; 2) his threat of a trade war with the European Union; and 3) the failure of Trump to produce a single substantive fact during the 45-minute program and his ignorance over issues such as gun control and climate change.
