As an internal Government report reconfirms the estimate that the UK’s departure from the European Union will bring a relative loss of £5,200 per year per household in GDP, I spoke with BBC Three Counties Radio about the impending decline.

Beginning with the declaration of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg that Brexit is the “single-stupidest” action by a country except for Donald Trump’s election — and with the question, “Why should we believe you?” — I lay out the economic facts to counter the Brexit illusions.
