As the last forced removals are carried out from the al-Wa’er district in Homs, the third-largest city in Syria, I spoke to Turkey’s TRT on Saturday about the significance.
The discussion includes not only the immediate situation but also the place of al-Waer’s surrender in the emerging, de facto partition of Syria for the foreseeable future.
