I think increasingly Brexit and the Trump victory are looking like aberrations, aberrations for very particular circumstances….What we are seeing now is that people have recognized the dangers and have come up with strategies where the whole French political system stepped aside to let this new, vibrant candidate — with a vision and rhetoric which appealed to that sense of change — come forward.
