On Wednesday, the Trump Administration put out a line that, while Iran is complying with the 2015 nuclear deal, it is to be derided — and presumably punished — as the “world’s biggest supporter of terrorism” and a violator of human rights.

So how exactly will the Administration pursue confrontation, in contrast to the Obama era of “engagement”? And what consequences are likely?
