I spoke with Dublin Newstalk’s Pat Kenny Show on Monday about a series of events that have shaken Israel in the past month, including corruption allegations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; his pardon of an Israeli soldier who shot a defenseless, prone Palestinian; truck-ramming attack that killed four Israeli cadets and wounded 15 others; and the UN vote criticizing the extension of Jewish settlements in Palestinian territory.

All of this was set within the context of an Israeli-Palestinian political process which is dormant and unlikely to revive in the near-future.
