On BBC West Midlands on Sunday morning, I spoke with forensic psychologist Dan Wilcox about his reading of the body language of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The casual “pub-style” discussion turned to whether one or both candidates was unsuited to becoming President, leading Wilcox to say, “If either of these people dropped dead, whoever the party put in [as a replacement] would win.”

I didn’t go as far, seeing Clinton as competent and stable in contrast to Trump. Wilcox also prefers Clinton, although his hope is for her impeachment to open up the American political system.

Wilcox on Trump:

He’s visibly aggressive. He like to play the Alpha Male card. I think the whole thing is a descent into madness.
