EA’s Political WorldView podcast considers the “enemies of the people” this week on both sides of the world.

First, regulars Adam Quinn and Scott Lucas are joined by guest Mark Goodwin to talk about UK politics after the High Court — branded “Enemies of the People” by several British newspapers — ruled that the Government must get a Parliamentary mandate before invoking Article 50 for departure from the European Union.

Then it’s to the Philippines where President Rodrigo Duterte is declaring his fight against “enemies of the peoples” from criminals and drug dealers to other politicians and Filipino elites — as casualties continue to mount from his tough approach.

In between there are the Numbers of the Week, with another reference to the fuss over independent British judges and a now-nostalgic look at a moment in the descent of the US Presidential election.
