With two weeks to go beyond the United Kingdom’s referendum on European Union membership, the polls are a virtual dead heat between Remain and Leave.

Yet, for all the chatter about Brexit, there is concern that the key issues — foremost among them, the effect on the British economy but also those like security, science and technology, education, the environment, and political co-operation — are not receiving proper attention with people getting access to vital information.

Speaking with BBC Radio 5 Live, Tereza Capelos of the University of Birmingham explains how part of the problem is the stress caused by the campaign.
